Remount

All remounted platforms undergo a thorough program of refurbishment and re-manufacture.

The level of refurbishment can be agreed and will be dependant upon our customers requirements which may include budget, length of time left in service, usage of platform etc. This can be discussed with ourselves and if necessary a thorough examination of the platform undertaken to establish a definitive specification and cost.

Our pioneering efforts with re-chassis have resulted in various improvements to remedy weaknesses. A chance to improve and update the platform may be considered, for example improved communications, CCT technology, improved standby engine, improved monitor, improved lighting etc.

You may even consider CE marking, something GB Fire have independently undertaken with the Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance Company, even though current legislation does not require this. Nevertheless with an eye to the future we aim to keep one or two steps ahead.
