GB Fire offer a team of Ex Simon and Ex Carmichael trained engineers, all with years of experience in re-manufacture and re-chassis of aerial platforms and turntable ladders. GB Fire is a quality approved company that will not compromise standards

STAGE ONE
Take one 15 year old platform, in this instance, a Simon SS263.


STAGE TWO
Remove and discard all bodywork.


STAGE THREE
All major fabrications are shotblasted. Non-Destructive Testing is carried out on all structural weld and pivot points.
Full independant Certification is issued.


STAGE FOUR
The bodywork is completely renewed to customer requirements, either in-house (as shown) or wherever the customer recommends.


STAGE FIVE
On rebuild, the mainframe is mounted to the replacement chassis at the optimum mounting position.


STAGE SIX
All refurbished components will be re-assembled and the turntable booms and cage fitted. The cab roof is troughed as necessary. The platform is re-manufactured and re-wired to the latest specification and all related items such as junction boxes and fittings replaced as required. The platform, re-mount, and re-manufacture will include all new flexible hydraulic and water hoses as standard.

Full paint and decals.

Full platform J.C.D.D. testing - all with relevant certificates.
